As an Artist
I believe in my ability to collaborate with others to create a world of joy and warmth as living art.
The Journey
Amandalynne Perzyk hails from Rochester Hills, Michigan. Recognized for her talent early in her studies, she received an encouragement award from the Metropolitan Opera National Council Competition in 2015. Roles from her time in undergraduate (Oakland University) and graduate school (University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music) include Sister Dolcina in Puccini’s Suor Angelica, Amor in Monteverdi’s L'incoronazione di Poppea, Pamina in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, and Rosalinda in Johann Strauss’s Die Fledermaus. Most recently, she sang the role of Micaëla (Carmen, Bizet) in the Canto Vocal Programs in Louisville, KY (2019). During the height of the pandemic in 2020, she continued online performances with Canto Vocal Programs and the “Voices of the World” Concert, along with singing as a concert soloist at the Skidaway Island United Methodist church, (Savannah, GA).
A versatile singing actress, Amandalynne is at home on both the opera and music theater stages. In addition to classical music, she has performed in a number of musicals that span the ages, from Annie Get Your Gun to Hairspray. As a singer, she believes in the importance of a solid foundation that can transcend multiple styles, allowing the voice to be as free and versatile as possible. In fact, when not performing in Operas or Musicals, Amandalynne can be found belting her way through Jazz works, Barbara Streisand, Judy Garland, and even Japanese Pop!
Amandalynne received her Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance at Oakland University School of Music Theater and Dance, where she studied with Dr. Alta Dantzler, and her Masters Degree in 2019 from University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music, studying under Kenneth Shaw and Dr. Quinn Patrick Ankrum. Summer training programs abroad include the AIMS in Graz program (2016) and Canto Vocal Programs in Croatia (2019).

In spring 2022, Amandalynne was thrilled to have joined Dayton Opera under the direction of Kathleen Clawson. There she premiered a community program called Opera Takes Flight, while covering two roles in the world premiere of Laura Kaminsky’s Finding Wright .
Amandalynne made her debut with Sarasota Opera, as Una Cugina in Puccini's Madama Butterfly, whilst performing in Verdi's Ernani, and concerts apart of the Winter 2023 Apprentice Program!
